Dr. Lilian Nabulime

Dr. Lilian Nabulime was born in 1969. She lives and works in Kampala. Nabulime teaches sculpture at the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Art in Makerere University. According to Lilian, through art one can effectively communicate social/political messages across tribes with a diversity of languages and cultural bases. Art can transcend the temporal limits of languages and speech, and that is the challenge she likes to overcome and portray in her sculptures.
